About the Artist

Combining his interests of adventuring outdoors and creating landscape paintings, Brian has pursued the challenge of studying the principles of picture making geared towards the goal of  capturing a time of place in paint that's significant to him in the landscape. Often times the role of color and the play of light across the scene are important points of interest that inspire the application of oil to canvas.

Studying the scene outdoors through plein air painting is a necessary part of the journey for his chosen craft.

Brian is currently represented at the Wally Workman Gallery in the city of Austin,TX.
